What is the best career advice you ever received?
The best career advice I received is that you must have a passion for your life’s work. Not every day will be perfect and there may be obstacles in the way, but love for my profession will push me through these hurdles and allow me to achieve success within my careers, whether it is in gymnastics or network marketing.
Why did you choose your profession?
Gymnastics has always been a passion for me since childhood, throughout my collegiate career and now as a coach and judge. It has been my privilege to be a role model and coach for numerous gymnasts throughout my career, which I will continue for years to come in addition to being a full-time network marketer for Isagenix, where I have also helped hundreds of individuals reach their fitness and life goals.
What motivates you to give back to your community?
The local community has provided me with many opportunities within academics, athletics and my career that I feel it is my responsibility to give back to the community which has supported me throughout my life and continues to influence me personally and professionally. This is why I devote my time as a mentor, coach, judge, NHIAA Committee Member, social worker and nutritional consultant for Isagenix.
What advice would you give your 22-year-old self?
I would advise my 22-year-old self to push through diversity, negativity and to anticipate difficult moments in life which can be conquered. You can achieve your goals with hard work, determination and be willing to accept help from others. This advice has helped me to achieve great success within athletics and network marketing.
What would you like to be doing when you’re 40?
At the age of 40, I hope to still be involved with gymnastics to further advance the sport and to provide instruction for the next generation of young gymnasts. I would like to continue building the gymnastics dynasty at Pinkerton Academy, along with coaching young gymnasts at New Hampshire Academy of Artistic Gymnastics who have dreams of continuing this sport at the collegiate level, whether on an academic or athletic scholarship. I also foresee myself continuing to build my business with Isagenix, and helping others achieve their fitness, health, and lifestyle goals all while raising a family with my husband Jason, in Southern New Hampshire.
