What is the best career advice you ever received?
For years now, I have held on to a handout that my football coach gave me at a meeting titled “Never play not to lose; always play to win.” There are four great short stories about the importance of persistence and drive in the pursuit of achieving your goals. “You may not win every contest you pursue, but the person who plays to win always has a much better chance.” I think this message can be applied to everyone’s personal and professional lives.
What motivates you to give back to your community?
This community has afforded me so many opportunities growing up and working here in southern New Hampshire that I cannot help but try to pay it forward. It is rewarding to help others succeed and you get to meet and work with so many great people along the way!
