What motivates you to give back to the community?
I was fortunate enough to come from a loving, nurturing family who made education a priority. I realize not everyone is or was as fortunate as I was, so sharing with those in need is just naturally the right thing to do.
Why did you choose your profession?
I’ve always liked working with and teaching kids. When I started working with marginalized youth who needed advocates, I realized this is something I could and should make my life’s work.
What was your last major achievement?
Completing school administrator coursework while working full time and caring for a newborn baby and three others.
What is the biggest problem facing New Hampshire?
Young people leaving the state.
Volunteer activities: Concord Coalition to End Homelessness, New Futures.
