What motivates you to give back to your community?
My wife and my faith motivate me to give back to the community. I’m able to see the real need in our community with my involvement in St. Vincent dePaul Society and Salvation Army. Even the smallest change you can give someone can and will change the world.
What advice would you give your 22-year-old self?
Meet as many people as you can and get involved in the community. The connections you make will certainly help you in any career down the road.
What is the biggest problem facing New Hampshire?
I personally believe poverty and drugs are among the top issues in New Hampshire. Homelessness is a very visible problem all around Manchester, and I’ve had the opportunity to see first hand how big this issue really is when I started delivering food to needy families in the city.
Volunteer activities: I’m currently the vice president of Saint Vincent dePaul Society at Ste. Marie Parish in Manchester. We are a team of volunteers who support special works in service to the poor and needy on the West Side of Manchester. I’m also an Advisory Board member for The Salvation Army in Manchester and a board member for NeighborWorks Southern New Hampshire.
