What is the best career advice you ever received?
Sheryl Sandberg says in her book “Lean In” that one of the most important career decisions you make is in your choice of life partner. My life is exponentially easier because I have a supportive husband who believes in and promotes my career. He also does more than his share of the household tasks, leaving me a lot more time to focus on work.
What advice would you give your 22-year-old self?
Know your limits. You don’t have to say yes to every opportunity presented to you. Pick the ones that advance your career or bring you joy.
What is the biggest problem facing New Hampshire?
Lack of resources for in-patient mental health treatment, particularly for juveniles.
What was your last major achievement?
I resolved two substantial personal injury cases via mediations in one month.
