What motivates you to give back to your community?
My primary motivation is my children, and a desire to ensure that New Hampshire is a great place for them to grow up and live. To the extent my efforts can improve our communities, our schools and our state laws, I consider it time well spent to secure the future for my children, and all residents of our great state.
Why did you choose your profession?
I first stated my intention to become an attorney during Career Day in third grade. At the time, I of course did not have full appreciation of what that entailed, but my premonition proved to be accurate. After having time to reflect on my career options, I chose to become an attorney because the law impacts literally everything. I believe that having a firm grasp on the law enables me to have the greatest impact on my world — whether it’s through advocacy in the courtroom, engaging in political strategy, or volunteering to serve on various boards.
Volunteer activities: Exeter Region Cooperative School Board; Newfields Democratic Committee; Rockingham County Democratic Committee; and Newfields Youth Athletic Association.
