May 02. 2016 11:27PM

CANAAN — A Massachusetts man is facing a prostitution charge after police say he solicited sex from an undercover officer on Monday.

Police said James M. Morgan, 55, of Sudbury, Mass., "offered to pay money for various sexual acts."

The prostitution charge is a Class B misdemeanor.

Morgan was released on $7,500 personal recognizance bail. He is to be arraigned July 11 in the 2nd Circuit Court-Lebanon.

Police said the arrest is related to an investigation that began last week and led to prostitution charges against three men, including Matthew E. Laramie, 48, of Grantham, a former elementary school principal in Hanover.
