GOFFSTOWN — A Manchester man was arrested Friday for driving as a habitual offender and for having left the scene of a head-on, three-car collision that injured three last month in Goffstown, according to police.

Jesse Rondeau, 27, will be arraigned on both felonies on Monday in Hillsborough County Superior Court North in Manchester.

Goffstown police had been looking for Rondeau, maintaining that he had fled the scene of the three-car crash on Goffstown Back Road on July 21.

Officers arrived at that crash scene in the area of Catamount Road at 3:01 p.m. July 21.

Police said they found the male operator of a Nissan Altima with serious injuries. A juvenile passenger of that car was also transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.

The third person hurt and brought for hospital evaluation was a passenger in the Nissan Xterra that officials said Rondeau had been driving but abandoned right after the crash.

A third car involved in the crash sustained minor damage, Goffstown police said.

A K9 tracker that Manchester police provided to Goffstown police back on July 21 could not find the driver who had fled.

On Friday Rondeau was found and arrested for the two felonies, officials said.

He was being held pending his arraignment on $2,500 cash bail.

Anyone with further information is asked to call the Goffstown Police Department and speak to officer Daniel Peltier at 497-4858.
