August 23. 2018 6:53PM

MANCHESTER — Local police are asking for the public’s help to locate someone who fired a handgun on Maple Street Wednesday night in the area of Oak Park.

A witness told police that someone fired a handgun from a moving car as it went north on Maple Street about 5:40 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2018.

Police officials said the car was described as a small silver sedan.

The witness believes the driver of the sedan may have been involved in a road rage-type incident with the driver of a silver SUV.

Police officials said the report was the sedan turned onto Brook Street when a passenger inside fired two shots in the air.

Multiple police units searched and found no evidence of a gunshot.

Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact the Manchester Police Department.

The witness said the silver sedan may have a New Hampshire license plate that starts with “311.”
