Mass. man brought back to NH to face Hudson theft charge

TYNGSBOROUGH, Mass. — A Tyngsborough man was extradited back to Hudson on Thursday to face charges of stealing metal piping and construction materials from a Hudson job site.

Jay Alexa, 44, was arrested Thursday on a fugitive from justice warrant by the Middlesex County (Mass.) Sheriff’s Department with the assist of Tyngsborough police, officials said.

Alexa will be arraigned on the Class A felony count of theft by unauthorized taking on Sept. 13 in the 9th Circuit Court Nashua District Division.

Bail was set at $1,000 cash and Alexa was released on bail.
