KENSINGTON — A 23-year-old local man missing since July 24 was found dead Saturday in a wooded area in Salisbury, Mass.
Kensington Police Chief Scott Sanders said Jacob Marsden was found in an area near the Seabrook town line.
Police do not suspect foul play, Sanders said.
According to Sanders, Marsden’s body was found not far from his white Jeep Cherokee, which was found in the old fire station parking lot on Route 286 in Seabrook a short time after he was reported missing.
Police and family members had expressed concern for his safety.
Sanders said Marsden had made statements that he might harm himself before he disappeared.
Sanders thanked the agencies that assisted with the search effort, including the Seabrook Police Department, New Hampshire State Police, New Hampshire Fish and Game, the Salisbury (Mass.) Police Department, Massachusetts State Police, and the New England K9 Search and Rescue.
