Oyster River of Durham pitcher Brennen Oxford was named a First Team All-American by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper.

The rising senior recorded a 5-1 record, 0.16 ERA and 79 strikeouts on the mound and a .452 average at the plate this past spring. Oxford, a left-hander, also tossed four consecutive no-hitters beginning with Oyster River's 9-0 victory at Goffstown on April 27. Oxford also no-hit Pembroke Academy, Laconia and Hollis/Brookline.

The Wake Forest commit was named both the NHIAA Division II Player of the Year and Gatorade New Hampshire Baseball Player of the Year following his junior campaign.

Only about a dozen high school pitchers have ever thrown four straight no-hitters, according to Oyster River baseball coach Craig Walfield.
