Raymond woman wins $1M jackpot at Conn. casino

March 18. 2017 1:03AM

A Raymond woman won more than $1 million last weekend at Mohegan Sun casino in Connecticut.

Alison Anzalone hit a Super 4 Progressive Jackpot for $1,001,459, the first million dollar jackpot winner on a progressive blackjack table at the Uncasville, Conn., casino.

According to Mohegan Sun, the progressive jackpot is triggered through a side bet, with a dealer blackjack triggering the Super 4 Bonus.

Players combine their two cards with the dealer’s two cards to make a four-card poker hand.

If the combined hand forms a royal flush in diamonds, the player wins the progressive jackpot, which is what Anzalone did.

Anzalone is a cocktail waitress at a poker room in New Hampshire, according to a news release issued by Mohegan Sun.

The New Hampshire Union Leader was unable to reach Anzalone for comment.
