A border collie from Bedford successfully defended his championship title for his height category Saturday during the Masters Agility Championship at Westminster in New York City.
Kaboom won the 24-inch division in the agility competition for the second year in a row.
Saturday marked the third straight year Kaboom has competed in the agility championships, according to owner Amber McCune of Bedford.
“Kaboom gave me his all and had a great run,” said McCune. “I love the location, and the competition was tough.”
The traditional Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show group and Best in Show judging kicks off today at Madison Square Garden. The winner of best in show will be named Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden.
Kaboom is one of canine from 26 New Hampshire competing in the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show this year.
Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show group and Best in Show judging can be seen live from Madison Square Garden on FS1 on Monday and Tuesday from 8 to 11 p.m.
