STRATHAM — Authorities say they have not received results of an autopsy that was expected to be performed on a North Hampton woman who died while kayaking in the Squamscott River Monday.

Fish and Game Major Kevin Jordan said it could take some time before the autopsy report is available for Ann Colcord, 59.

Colcord was recovered from the river late Tuesday morning after her body was discovered during a search of an area where her overturned kayak was found.

Fish and Game officials have said they're not sure how Colcord, who was known to kayak in the area, ended up in the water sometime late Monday afternoon or early evening.
