MANCHESTER – A man walking his dog was punched in the face and robbed by three men early Monday morning near Malvern and Concord streets.

The 20-year-old man told police the men came up behind him, grabbed him by the shirt collar, and punched him in the face.

The men went through his pockets and made off with some cash.

The man's shirt was torn and his face was red and swollen, the officer noted in his report.

He described one of the robbers as a heavyset black man, about 6-feet tall wearing a gray sweatshirt. The second man was also black, but tall and thin. He could not describe the third man.
