Napoli homered off former Sox lefty Erik Bedard, who is trying out for a spot in the Rays' rotation.

Will Middlebrooks added two RBIs for the Red Sox. Shane Victorino, making his spring debut in right field, was hit by a pitch and scored a run in three innings.
