Bottomline buys Rhode Island firm
PORTSMOUTH — Bottomline Technologies, a provider of cloud-based payment, invoice and digital banking systems, on Tuesday announced it will acquire Andera, an application processor based in Rhode Island.
Andera helps banks and credit unions process more than 4.5 million new account applications online each year.
“With the acquisition of Andera, we once again extend our portfolio of world-class payments and digital banking solutions,” said Rob Eberle, president and CEO of Bottomline Technologies, in a prepared statement.
The acquisition involves $44.5 million in cash and 102,000 shares of Bottomline stock.
Andera employs more than 70 people and has more than 500 bank and credit-union clients, according to its website.
The acquisition of Andera will add $10 million to Bottomline revenue in its 2014-15 fiscal year, which starts July 1, according to a company news release.
DES hosting several job fairs
The New Hampshire Department of Employment Security has scheduled three jobs fairs in April, starting today with the Laconia Job and Resource Fair at the Belknap Mall, 96 Daniel Webster Highway, Belmont, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Hooksett Job Fair is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, April 7 at the Hooksett City Hall Gymnasium, 35 Main St.
The Littleton Job Fair is scheduled for Wednesday, April 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Littleton Employment Security Office, 646 Union St., Suite 100.
