Police trace property stolen in Mass. burglary to Nashua woman

AMY MANZI

NASHUA — A city woman is under arrest on felony charges accusing her of pawning stolen jewelry and charging more than $2,500 on stolen credit cards, items taken in a residential burglary in Lunenburg, Mass.

Amy Manzi, 43, of 112 Kinsley St., second floor, was arrested Monday and charged with fraudulent use of a credit card, a class A felony; fraudulent use of a credit card, a class B felony, and receiving stolen property, a class A misdemeanor.

Police opened an investigation April 14 after Lunenburg police contacted them about a burglary in their town. Jewelry, credit cards and other items were stolen from the home with the jewelry later pawned at a shop in Nashua. Police said Manzi was identified as the person who sold the jewelry.

Two credit cards stolen from the residence also were used, with more than $1,500 charged on one and $1,000 charged on the other at various merchants in Nashua. Surveillance video captured the transactions with Manzi identified as the individual using them, according to investigators.

Manzi is free on $1,000 cash/surety bail pending arraignment Tuesday in 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District Division.
