Man found unconscious with head injury on city sidewalk

MANCHESTER — A 32-year-old man was found unconscious and with a head injury early Sunday evening on a sidewalk outside 494 Wilson St.

Police, who did not release the injured man’s name, said medical personnel were tending to the man when Officer Scott Ardita arrived about 6:30 p.m.

The man suffered head injuries that are not life-threatening, police said. Ardita, along with detectives, followed up at the hospital and identified the injured man whose skull was fractured.

Investigators believe the man was injured during an argument with someone else.

Detectives are following up on several leads to determine if anyone will be arrested in the incident.
