Headlight out leads to pot charges for Merrimack teen and her passenger


MERRIMACK - Police who stopped a vehicle for a defective headlight at 9:39 p.m. Tuesday, in the area of 21 Continental Boulevard, ended up citing the driver for transportation of a controlled drug and her passenger for possession of a controlled drug.

Kaylee Pyrcz, 18, of 7 Oxford St., was charged with transportation of marijuana and Colin Brown, 25, of 8 Rocky Ridge Road, Exeter, was charged with possession.

Both Pyrcz and Brown were released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail and scheduled for arraignment Sept. 16 in Circuit Court-Merrimack District Division.
