Hollis man arrested on drug charges

DAVID W. GREENMAN

HOLLIS — Police arrested a local man after a motor vehicle stop led to a search of his car and the discovery of about a half-pound of marijuana and some prescription medication inside it, according to police.

Officer Mitchel Cardona pulled over a 1996 Acura Integra about 8:40 p.m. Saturday on Proctor Hill Road for a motor vehicle violation.

Police said Cardona smelled marijuana coming from the car and obtained a search warrant.

Investigators later found the marijuana, prescription drugs and other drug paraphernalia in the car, according to authorities.

On Tuesday, police arrested the driver, David W. Greenman, 34, of 68 RR Flint Pond Drive, on charges of possessing marijuana with the intent to sell; possession of a controlled drug, and transportation of a controlled drug.

Bail was set at $1,500 cash/surety with arraignment set for Oct. 15 in 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District Division.
