Monarchs face Thunder in Game 3 tonight

The Manchester Monarchs go for a commanding 3-0 lead in tonight’s Game 3 of the ECHL first-round playoff series against the Adirondack Thunder.

Faceoff tonight in Glens Falls, N.Y., is 7 p.m.

Manchester swept the first two games of the series, 3-1 on Friday and 4-2 on Saturday at SNHU Arena.

On Saturday, the Monarchs’ Quentin Shore scored the game-tying goal in the second period and Manchester scored two goals in the third for the comeback win. Shore has five points so far in the series.

Monarchs goalie Sam Brittain made 24 saves and 22 saves in the two victories.
