Manchester police looking for man who brandished knife to walk off with a beer
Manchester police are looking for this man, who they say brandished a knife before walking out of N&N Express on Lowell Street with a can of beer.
MANCHESTER — Police are asking the public’s help identifying a man they said brandished a knife to threatening a clerk before walking out of a convenience store with a single can of beer.
According to a release, officers were called to N&N Express, 230 Lowell St., about 8:10 p.m. Monday, where they were told a man had tried to buy a single beer with a credit card, then argued with the clerk and tried to leave with the beer.
When the clerk blocked the door, police said, the man took out a knife so the clerk let him leave.
Police said the man is white and slender, with brown, thinning hair, a goatee and was last seen wearing jeans and a black and red winter coat.
Police ask anyone who can identify the man, or who has other information, to call them at 668-8711 or anonymously to Manchester Crimeline at 624-4040.
