NHIAA Roundup: Windham wins thriller


Riley Desmarais’ 3-pointer with 11 seconds to go gave Windham the lead in a 50-48 win over Hanover in boys’ basketball play in Windham on Thursday.

Desmarais, who led the Jaguars with 13 points, got the ball off a missed free throw by Thomas Splagounias (10 points). Windham is 7-9. Liam Gantrish led Hanover (7-9) with 10.

Derryfield 62, Epping 52: At Manchester, Derryfield rallied from a 14-point third-quarter deficit to cap an unbeaten season. Cody Bournival led the Cougars (18-0) with 15 points. Hunter Bullock led Epping (10-8) with 14.

Girls’ basketball

Goffstown 62, Timberlane 28: At Goffstown, Sofia Pirez led the Grizzlies, who end 13-5 after a 1-4 start, with 11. Lauren Rich led Timberlane (6-12) with nine points.
