Champions: Lurgio captures middle school title; Aroma Joe's tops in the city; Weare takes the mountain
Above, the Ross Lurgio Middle School baseball team finished the 2018 season with a 12-0 record and the school's fourth straight Tri-County Championship. Above, Aroma Joe’s beat Godzyk Real Estate 3-1 for the Senior Division title of the Manchester Girls’ Softball League. Cassidy Lavigne pitched a complete game, striking out eight. She also drove in a run. Cooper Lavigne and Rebecca Sergi both had triples, and Rylee Scammon and Andrea Walter played good defense. Madison Infantine pitched a complete game while Taylor Wilson went 2-for-3 and Emily DeVarney added a double for Godzyk.
