Steve Negron in the 2nd: A conservative voice for NH

EDITORIAL

Steve Negron may have the biggest smile at the State House.

The first-term representative from Nashua is relentlessly cheery, his friendliness and optimism a welcome antidote to the anger and frustration permeating modern politics. Negron is bringing a positive, confident conservative message to the race for Congress in New Hampshire’s Second District. The theme of his campaign is “Restore American Confidence,” and he has earned our endorsement.

Negron’s smile is backed up by steel. Negron served in the U.S. Air Force, worked in the private sector and started his own small business working in the high-tech defense industry.

In two short years in Concord, Negron established himself as a reliable conservative vote for lowering business taxes, protecting ratepayers, expanding school choice, defending gun rights, and extending legal protection to the unborn.

As a proud pro-life candidate, Negron would provide a strong contrast to extremist Ann McLane Kuster, who worked as an abortion industry lobbyist before doing its bidding in Washington.

Negron would fight for fiscal discipline at a time when both parties have abandoned any such concern.

Negron represents an upbeat, confident conservatism that the Republican Party needs. He is the GOP’s best choice in the Second District. Republicans and independents should vote for Steve Negron for Congress on Sept. 11.
