MERRIMACK — A woman who was out on bail after being arrested three times in five days last week was arrested again Saturday while trying to steal from an outlet store, police said Monday.

Ashley Compagna, 34, was arrested Saturday morning after security at the Merrimack Premium Outlet Mall called police about a shoplifter, police said in a release.

Police said Compagna had removed price tags from merchandise she didn’t pay for.

They arrested her again, charging her with theft by unauthorized taking, possession of a controlled drug, theft/willful concealment and violating bail conditions set just days before, the release.

Compagna was arrested Sept. 1 on three felony counts of receiving stolen property after a neighbor accused her of stealing a dog and a purse the night before. Officers went to Compagna’s room at the extended-stay hotel, where they found the dog and the neighbor’s purse, police said.

Two hours after being released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail, a patrol officer spotted Compagna trying to climb in through a window at an ice cream shop at 6:20 a.m. and arrested her on charges of burglary, criminal mischief and breach of bail conditions, police said.

Compagna was picked up again last Wednesday night when police were called back to the hotel by a neighbor who reported Compagna knocking on a door and refusing to leave, police said.

Compagna handed over to the officers some prescription medicine she said belonged to the neighbor, whom she had been ordered not to contact, police said.

Compagna was charged that time with possession of a prescription drug, receiving stolen property and breaching bail conditions, police said.

Compagna was released on personal recognizance bail Saturday and is scheduled to appear in Hillsborough County Superior Court on Sept. 27.
