What is the best career advice you ever received?

Know what you will and will not sacrifice for a paycheck. Some career pain is only temporary and some career pain is not worth it.

Why did you choose your profession?

I learned along the way that I want to make a difference, have fun, and have control over my job. As an entrepreneur I get to do that.

What motivates you to give back to your community?

My kids, more than anything. I want them to be successful, strong, and happy.

What advice would you give your 22-year-old self?

Starting a business is twice as hard as you think, even though you believe everyone who tells you how hard it is! That doesn’t mean don’t do it, it just means work twice as hard and save twice as much money.

What would make New Hampshire more attractive to young professionals?

Greater publicity and marketing on highly successful professionals in the area. We emulate those we admire. Young professionals need to know about others who came to New Hampshire or stayed in N.H. and were able to achieve notable success.

What would you like to be doing when you’re 40?

Considering I’m 39 that’s not too much of a stretch! I want to be doing just what I’m doing now — running my business. Just bigger and better. Perhaps I can become a notable success that others will want to emulate!

What was your last major achievement?

Finalist, 2017 Stay Work Play Rising Stars Awards (Entrepreneur of the Year).

Volunteer activities: Military Veteran Mentor, SNHU.
