New St. Mary's Bank headquarters

St. Mary's Bank President Ron Covey Jr. and Marketing Director Elizabeth Stodolski describe the mural in the Boivin Room, which captures an image from the bank's earliest days in the home of attorney Joseph Boivin.  (DAVE SOLOMON/Union Leader)
Tellers at the new St. Mary's Bank on McGregor street don't have access to cash drawers. Instead, cash is disbursed through a small ATM machine that is controlled by each teller and accessed by customers using their bank cards. The new technology is not only more efficient, it is also designed to thwart robberies.  (DAVE SOLOMON/Union Leader)
St. Mary's Bank Marketing Director Elizabeth Stodolski points out that the early name of the bank, "La Caisse Populaire Ste-Marie," still appears on the bank's front door. The three-foot tall letters that carried the name across the top of the old bank building, now being demolished, will be restored at the bank's Perimeter Road location by late summer, as suggested in the rendering shown below.  (DAVE SOLOMON/Union Leader)
Floor-to-ceiling windows and a two-story atrium with a curved facade and limestone columns greet customers in the lobby of the new St. Mary's Bank, which opened for business on Monday. (DAVE SOLOMON/Union Leader)
