Carlo Capano was sworn in as Manchester police chief by Mayor Joyce Craig on June 29, 2018. Capano, 46, the assistant chief since 2015, has been a member of the Manchester force for 22 years. He replaces Chief Nick Willard, whose nomination to be the new U.S. Marshal for New Hampshire was endorsed by the Senate Judiciary Committee on June 28, 2018. (David Lane/Union Leader)
