A former police commission chairman could face a prison term of 12 to 60 years after Illinois State Police found 900 pounds of marijuana in the back of his truck.

He will get off, it sounds like the cops did an illegal search, also how can they justify pulling him over for 5 over the limit?? sounds like a set up to me, they better have had a search warrent or he is walking. sounds to me liekt hey are making excuses for pulling him over to cover the fact that they had no casue to do so. any good lawyer will get him off.

We are missing something. People do not get pulled over just for doing 70 in a 65 zone on that part of I80 in Illinois. The reporter had the speed wrong or the State Police had a tip.

This was obviously some type of attempt at large scale distribution. I wonder if he was headed back to NH with it. Makes you wonder how many people in NH smoke reefer when someone is bringing back 900 pounds. The individual sounds like someone that you would have called
a good person given all the mention of
his merits, no criminal record, former police commissioner ect. Situations like
this make you think it might be time for other options. Legalize it!
