A boat or barge containing fireworks caught fire during a display over Lake Sunapee in Newbury last night.

Because of ecology reasons, they shouldn't be firing fireworks over the water in the first place. If it isn't already, it should be illegal.

I live in Newbury and it was a barge. during the grand finale something caught on fire. It started very small, but quickly went ablaze. I had some personal experiances with fireworks this year. We had some large ones, and at least 7 of them did not ignite the second wics properly, im thinking due to the very wet summer we are having. I have been telling everyone I know to be very careful with their fireworks this year.
