eh listen a real pro tattoo artist would never
EVER give a tattoo too a 12 year old girl or boy.thats just wrong and should never be done.whats a 12 year old girl doing in a tattoo shop without any parents?and why did the tattoo artist not ask a obvious minor to leave
for?he is nothing more than a didler and should be punched out...and the young 12 year old girls parents should be horse wipped
for not keeping an eye on there child..
- sweet gene, toronto
Regardless of how good of a person this Glen is.. HE GAVE a 12 YEAR OLD A TATTOO... He is a grown adult and knows better. What was he doing talking to them anyways? Yes, the parent should know where their kids are but face it, did you not lie and do whateevr you could to get your way?
- Natasha, Derry NH
O.K. Yes it is called a tramp stamp but that doesn't mean anyone that gets one is a tramp. It is just what the name is called. Look it up in an urban dictionary like someone had said before. It has nothing to do with the woman that decides to get one.
- Jen, Derry NH
Bill Dixon-you know what they say about opinions are like a certain body part..everybody has them or is one! I think people's actions make them look cheap and used..and ignorance the same.
It saddens me to hear woman using the phrase "tramp stamp"..I guess we haven't progressed to much as a society if we still judge people by appearances and the way we look. Yet as woman, we promote such quote that was obviously made up by some ignorant person-who felt the need to put another demeaning label on a woman. As if we don't have enough! If having tattoos, which I do makes me look cheap, used, a tramp etc-I will take that any day over the ignorance and stupidity witnessed in some of these comments. Wake up people, there are bigger issues. Tattoos are a far cry from what's wrong with the world.
- Jessica S, Derry, NH
The PARENTS of the 12yr old girl are to blame for their 12yr old daughter getting this tattoo. Not the girls nor Glens
- Stevie D, Derry,NH
I have to agree if a child can get an abortion without a parent then they should be able to get a tattoo.I'm a close friend of his and the media is making it seem so much worse than it really is.
- Jen, Derry NH
O.K. first of all I have to say I completely agree with Jonathan from Bedford a girl can get an abortion without a parent present but not a tatoo? Second of all,yes it is called a tramp stamp. Third of all I am a personal friend of Glens. The media is making him out to be a lot worse than it is. I also have to say I agree with Jessica from Bedford that if she can take a 17 yr old to the cops after getting a tattoo and them do nothing then they should leave Glen alone.
- Jen, Derry NH
Jonathan from Bedford comments shows how the issue gets distorted into a "gov.staying out of your business" tyraid. The real issue id a 38 year old engaging in this activity with a 12 year old. He's lucky it wasn't my kid!
- Norman, Bedford
Tattoos on a woman are like bumper stickers on a car. Makes them look used, cheap and high mileage.
- Bill Dixon, Exeter, NH
To Jonathan in Bedford. You hit the nail on the head! I agree with you completely.
The Government need's to butt out of family's live's.
- Dot Knightly, Nashua
There will come a day when this 12 year old girl regrets this tattoo. She is 12- 12 year olds cannot make a decision about something that will last a lifetime because it's incomprehendible at that age what "a lifetime" means. What in the world is a 38 year old man doing getting this intimit with a 12 year old girl anyway. And yes... on the streets it called a "tramp stamp" We aren't making this up. This entire article is very unfortunate for the young girls that are now scared for life.
- Karen, Manchester
Parents need to start knowing were their children are and who they are hanging around with. Who allows thier child who is only 12 to hang aournd a 36 year old. That age difference is characterized by maturity that a 12 year old just dosen't have. I'm so tired of hearing about children who are not being properly supervized. The parents oviously need a more active role in their kids lives.
What it all comes down to is where are the parents?
- FIRE, HOOKSETT
These are a few of the things that give legitimate Tattoo artists a bad name. First, the guy is a scratcher....Second, he's 38 years old and putting his hands on 12 and 16 year old girls. A pro who has spent years at his craft would NEVER do this.
- David, Manchester
I would have to agree with Kathi, although I have never heard the term tramp stamp, I dont like it either. I dont think it has anything to do with age as I am only 32.
- Abigale, Derry
Look what its turning into, an attack on Mike from Bow. Kathi, get real, thats what it is. The real issue is that the guy in Derry has no business putting anything on a 12year old. Great parental supervison.
- Dave, Beford
Actually Jessica you are wrong. The 12 year old does have a tramp stamp. Read the article.
And get over it. I have a tattoo on the small of my back that my husband calls my tramp stamp. It doesn't offend me and I am 28 years old, an elementary school teacher, happpily married. Those who get offended by it.. well what kind of person are you? It is a joke- a slang term. Lighten up.
- KL, Goffstown
For a definition of "tramp stamp" for those that are morally outraged, see urbandictionary.com for more information.
- Dan, Manchester
Leave Kathi alone, she is right. Im a young person and I think its rude to say its a tramp stamp. Im not a tramp, and I dont have one on my back, but when I do, im still not going to be a tramp!
- Jen, Manchester
This is insane, I can remember my friend getting a tattoo at 17 and when her mother saw it and brought it to the authorities attention they didn't do anything about.
And Mike from Bow, the 16 year old has the tattoo on her lower back aka tramp stamp not the 12 year old.
- Jessica, Bedford
Kathi in Barrinton.. the tattoo on the lower back is generally called the "tramp stamp".. Ask a young person for clarification..
- Beth, Raymond
Kathi from Barrington. Sorry to say, but that's what they are called.
- Frank, Nashua
The school nurse noticed the tatoo on the small of the back of the 12 year old girl? I'm kinda wondering where the parents (if any) were?
- Pete, Bedford
I spent 20 years in the US Navy and never got tattooed!
- Jim B, Manchester, NH
This is great - little girls can get an abortion without their parents consenting but they can't get a tattoo. Has our legislature lost all moral sense? Either parents are supposed to be responsible for their children or they're not. If the state is going to screw around with my rights as a parent, then they shouldn't be spending my tax dollars to chase down some kid who stuck a tattoo on their butt. If the state had any sense, they'd stop this insanity and start arresting doctors giving abortions to runaway children.
- Jonathan, Bedford, NH
Mike from Bow.......... What an uncalled for gross remark. What's wrong is your attitude! It may not be right for a minor to get a tatoo however calling it a tramp stamp is wrong.
- Kathi, Barrington
A tramp stamp at the age of 12.... That's just wrong.
- Mike, Bow
