Even if Nicolas Sarkozy do not respect French Constitution and do attack the freedom of the French press which he does, at least, as a foreigner in the US, he must respect the US Constitution and the freedom of the US press'corp.
Please, the AP must continue and also report what really happens in France since Nicolas Sarkozy was elected.

Everyone has a righ to privacy. Even stars -- they provide a service (acting, singing) and we pay to see it and that's where it ends. No one owes us their lives - imagine never having a vacation??? It's not healthy. They could have taken photos as they were allowed to in the beginning and then moved on. It's greed. I don't want people not to feel comfortable in New Hampshire.

Sacre Bleu! If he wants to vacation in the United States, he should understand that we have a Constitution that allows freedom of the press. That includes taking pictures of self righteous (and historically anti-American) French politicians.

Sounds to me like President Nicolas Sarkozy was lucky Jim Cole was nice about the unauthorized boarding of his boat. Suck it up Mr. Sarkozy, you're in the U.S.A. now.

It's nice to see that photographers from the Associated Press are behaving like paparazzi from the National Enquirer by camping outside the home of a vacationing dignitary to get a snapshot of him in a bathing suit. It sends a pretty clear message that celebrities can't enjoy the beauty of N.H. without being harrassed by "news" reporters. The Associated Press should step up to a higher level by hiring photographers who can recognize "newsworthy" stories.
