Could one man, known to Minnesota's basketball faithful as "Big Ticket," be enough to spark some interest for hoops here in Celtics country?

Which is better? 2-28 without Pierce in the lineup last year or 3 Multi-Time All-Star players including the 2004 Season MVP this year. Time will tell if the young players given up are going to be great. I think it was the best move now.

Yes, it is alot, but, look at it, was it really?
Jefferson- Stat line is on par with Garnett's. But Garnett is a better player, even if older.
Telfair- Bad deal to begin with, did nothing in Boston.
Ratliff- forgot he was still on the roster
Green- With a healthy Tony Allen he would get no playing time and that is what he needs playing time. He is talented, but a project
Gomes- Nice player, worker, but, with Powe and Glen Davis his shoes are filled.
Future 1st round picks- with the team that the Celtics have these should be picks in the 20's. Boston needs to win now anyway!!!
I love the deal. Pierce, R. Allen, Garnett, Rondo and Perkins Bench of Pruitt, a great athlete, T. Allen, Powe and Glen "Big Daddy" Davis, I would have to say that I will be watching the NBA again. Basketball is BACK in BOSTON!!!

I dont think it was wise to let three promising young stars such as Jefferson, Green and Gomes go for Kevin Garnett, a player who in my opinion has already peaked as far as his talent goes. The Celtics have had a revolving door in their locker room for several years now and have yet to produce a winning season. Danny Ainge has taken the Celtics organization and drove it into the ground. If the Celtics cannot produce this year I think the revolving door in their locker room should be moved upstairs to management. On a more positive note we still have the Celtics dancers to watch again this year. Celtic Pride forever.
