GREENLAND – Eleven-year-old Katie Tucker is in fair condition at Boston Children's Hospital.

Tucker was struck by a car on Tuesday night while crossing Route 151, also known as Post Road.

Tucker's condition has improved daily. She was initially listed in critical condition at Portsmouth Regional Hospital and was taken to Boston.

Additional details about her injuries are not available.

According to police, Tucker got out of a vehicle on Route 151 around 4:30 p.m. and attempted to cross the street when she was hit by a GMC pickup truck.

Police have not identified the truck's driver.

The girl is one of state Rep. Pamela Tucker's three children.
