Bellwether Community Credit Union reported the loss of a disc with about 3,000 members' personal and account information on it.

Quick- how do I sue?

I fail to see why it using strong encryption for backup and transfer disks is not MANDATORY in the financial sector. They are already heavily regulated, and encryption is just a simple extra step.
