I don't want to see the Feds arrest the Browns, but not for the reasons you might think. Law-abiding, tax-paying citizens have been picking up the slack for the Browns and all of the other willfully ignorant individuals that are under the misguided impression that taxes are somehow 'voluntary' or that no law exists in regards to taxation. If we arrest them, we're just going to have to pay for them to be in prison. I say deport them. If they don't want to do their part to support our great country, then they shouldn't be on its soil and they shouldn't be soaking up MY tax dollars.

We live in the greatest nation in the world. If you feel that you are right and 99% of the people are wrong on income taxes such as Herb from Canterbury, then get on RT 93 at exit 18 and drive north. Keep going until you reach a border checkpoint. Then get housing and job. Why do you stay here?

Taxes are not voluntary. They had their day in court and they squandered that opportunity. They were found guilty by a court of their peers. They are now criminals, regardless of the crime and should be in jail. end of story. Had they come peacefully, they could go to a CC jail. Now, threatening all out war, they should go to a southern california fed lockup. They'll get their checkbook out quickly, trust me.

I like how people say that the income tax law doesn't exist. Its not like there is a 16th amendment. The argument that it doesn't exist because it wasn't ratified correctly is incorrect, it does exist and you have to obey it, period. Whether or not you agree it became an amendment is irrelevant, it has and it has been upheld in many many cases. There is no discussion about there being an income tax law, there in fact is, period.

Assault teams over a tax case? This makes perfect sense if your god is money. Compare the amount the Browns allegedly owe to the Feds compared to the money wasted in Iraq alone every day and it is a fraction of one percent! Energy industry tax breaks in the face of exorbitant profits, rampant corporate subsidies, and the largest ever debt and deficit ? yea, go feds.
- Herb Cameron, Canterbury, NH
I applaud the Marshalls for their patience. Mr Brown has threatening the lives of his men and that of their family. I think the income tax is a scam as well, but lets vote the people into office to abolish it, not by threatening innocent people. In my opinion Mr Brown just wants to be a martyr.

The Brown's have been convicted of a crime which doesn't exist in the law. The IRS is exactly a protection racket; they demand your money, and if you don't pay, they break your legs. Personal income taxes are SLAVERY, and, for that reason, the federal income tax laws do NOT include the income of ordinary Americans in their definition of taxable income. "Taxable Income" - look it up!!
- Mike Ford, Bedford, NH
I don't understand why the goverment puts up with this kind of behavior. If htese people broke the law and were sentenced by a court and have failed to report as ordered then the law should arrest them not just let them fort up and become the cause of the moment for other radical groups.

The longer these people sit in their house the more taxpayers money they are wasting. Go feds!

I dont really understand the argument against paying taxes. My thoughts are that if you want to live in this country and drive on our roads and visit our hospitals, you need to play be the same rules as everyone else. Having said that though, I am glad the government is trying to end this non-violently, all Waco did was make the US government look like idiots. Thanks for listening to my rant!

keep up the good work feds.

Thank you for covering this story.
You should also consider covering the fact's exposed in Aaron Russo's film, "From Freedom to Fascism."
Doing so will help expose the IRS for what they really are...thieves and bandits - totally opposing what America stands for.
Thank you for your time.
