Fred Thompson to skip next week's NH debate
Fred Thompson will announce his presidential candidacy on Sept. 6.
He will not participate in a debate co-sponsored by the state GOP the night before at the University of New Hampshire.

Fred had a chance to serve the country when he was in the Senate in 2002. He chose not to run for reelection when the country was at war, and yes, his daugther died and that was terrible. Nevertheless, he can't show up five years down the road, in the mess we're in, and pretend he's the guy to fix it. He ran to Hollywood to make easy money at the same time U.S. soldiers were going to Afghanistan. This man Thompson is not a leader.

Just announce already. His "campaign" to date has been ridiculous. I was interested in him at first but so far he's just been annoying with the dragging out of his announcement.
Sorry Fred, my money goes to Ron Paul.
