National primary day is a very bad idea. The candidates with the most money will most likely win the most votes. We would probably have even less discussion of the issues than we have now. It would be a lot harder for little known candidates to raise money and be competitive.
We should have a Presidential primary process that has smaller population States going before large population States. We could have 7 primaries a month for 5 months and then have the primaries of the 15 largest population States held on the same day. This makes it easier for candidates who do not have much money to be competitive and raise money. I think people should be allowed to contribute as much money to candidates as they want. If a person wants to contribute more than 1 million dollars to a candidate, let the person do this as long as disclosure takes place. There are many millionaires on the left and many millionaires on the right.

Mike Right On! One person, one vote, one day winner takes all. No delegates, no super delegates, no half delegates. No convention. No litter in March from the stupid signs (like they make me want to vote for someone) that got burried in the snow.
Three final canidiates, one "demo-craft-ic", one "re-dubya-can" and one for the sane people who don't want to drink a party's kool-aid.
First place gets to be president. Second place is VP and 3rd place is speaker of the house. Built in check and balance system at a greatly reduced cost.

God please stop the "maddness". the presidental/primary season is just to long thanks to this stupid notion of being first. Lets just have a nationwide primary say in May or June and lets get it over with. In this day and age you can find out more about candidates then you ever could. If you can't make a decision then maybe you are to stupid to vote!

The beat goes on with the NH first in the nation primary. We get favored treatment over other states and WMUR gets to maintain the illusion that they are a first rate news organization.
I wonder if the parties will do something for the voters such as 1. Prohibit the use of "Push Polls" and "Robo Calls" 2. Limit all TV advertising to no sooner than two weeks before the primary. 3. Encourage the candidates to go where the real people are instead of a location that looks good for a photo op. I know this won't happen, but I thought I would suggest a more "retail" type Presidential Primary.
