Former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani will be the keynote speaker at the New Hampshire Republican State Committee’s annual meeting on Jan. 27, according to the party’s web site.

Giuliani formed a presidential exploratory committee in recent weeks and is considering a run for President. He was last in New Hampshire in October, when he made two separate visits.

Giuliani has not officially declared his candidacy but national polls have shown him and Arizona Sen. John McCain emerging as front-runners for the 2008 Republican presidential nomination.

The annual meeting will be held at the Palace Theater in Manchester. Committee members will be admitted free and there will be a $10 charge for guests.

The state committee at the meeting is expected to elect a new chairman to succeed Wayne Semprini, who has decided not to seek reelection for medical reasons. Other party officers will also be elected, including a new state representative to the Republican National Committee to replace Tom Rath, who is leaving the post to work advise the expected presidential campaign of Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney.
