Ian Clark's Patriots Report Card: Football gods can be cruel
The New England Patriots defeated Buffalo 13-0 on Sunday to finish 11-5 on the season, yet they did not make the playoffs. It was a solid season that could have gone so much worse after star quarterback Tom Brady was lost in the first quarter of the first game.

Hey Paul from Milford.... CAN YOU PROVE THEY CHEATED THIS YEAR AND ENDED UP 11-5??? NOT
- STEVIE D, DERRY,NH
I keep thinking back to that Miami/NE game in September when the Pats got bludgeoned 38-13. And no one can blame Cassell for that. The defensive unit was simply smacked around on those wildcat plays. But that game... that was the difference.

Ian, I hear you buddy. 11-5 and not get in, com'on. What do you think, howabout an Asterisk or something in the record books for the Pats? LOL
