Am I seeing things or was there a rediculously low turnout for the elections today? My husband and I voted at ward 12 at approx 6:10pm. There were more people standing outside than inside voting. There were maybe 10 people inside voting at that time, no lines, no waiting! Personally we are overwhelmed with our property taxes, living on the west side where crime has become a daily issue and our school system has major problems. Were there really only 20,000 people in our city that cared enough to cast a vote today?

Hey Mayor Guinta I did not vote for you but congratulations! Please spend some time at the School Department. It is in dire need of help. Start with Human Resources and then work your way up. Its a mess down there on Commercial Street. Thanks and Congrats again on winning the election.

The City of mManchester should be ashamed with over 100,000 people living here less than 20,000 turned out to vote. Shame on the people of Manchester. Cry and complain all the time, but when you have a chance to change and speak up you are too lazy to do so. Mat your taxes triple and crime quadruple and all services disperse. For today you showed the politician just how foolish we really are. Kudos to those who still care. For at least some make the effort regardless of party to all those that vote Thank you.

No real surprises with this election. Same old same old, and you get what you elect.

Great! 2 more years of higher taxes, poor grades at school and increased crime...
