"Flip-Flop Lynch" won't win the relelction for dog catcher in Enfield, NH. No offense Enfield. He has no back bone and blow with the prevailing wind. We, on the other hand need a leader with quality. I personally think Ayotte would be the perfect choice.
- Russ, Manchester

Go to it Ayotte. Lynch may be a great business manager but the average guy on the street feels grossed out by the gay marrage betrayal. If people in the administration don't support that ,they should not take the position again - no need to resign though.
- Belinda, Peterborough

Ayotte or Lynch How about neither. Judging by the current situation, we have nothing to lose by taking a chance and voting for new, inexperienced people.
Perhaps another party should get it's turn.
Today, when someone gets up and touts their experience when running for office, we have reason to fear their election.
- Steve, Raymond

Kelly Ayotte would be an interesting candidate for whatever office she runs for--- but she has never run for anything in a general (or even primary) election.

It is not clear which party she belongs to anyway, although I suppose anyone who really cares if she has a D or R next to her name at the moment could go check the Nashua voter list, which is a public record. She was appointed by Gov. Benson, but she has been Gov. Lynch's righthand woman, playing a role which goes well beyond the narrowly defined duties of the office of Attorney General--- and Lynch is a Democrat.

If she runs for something as a Democrat, she would be far to the right of the mainstream of her party. She has also taken some actions which many Democrats firmly disagree with.
- Timothy Horrigan, Durham, NH

I have a swell idea. Hold a surprise press conference and resign immediately. Then, in a shrieky voice, blame the media and the public, though you are supposedly stepping back from politics. String together a series of platitudes until no one can figure out why you're doing what you're doing or what it means to "fight for what's right and effect change."

No, it's not my original idea--and has nothing to do with our inspiring AG.
- Spike, Brentwood NH

Oh Please!

Mr. Lynch also claimed he would not sign gay marriage into law after spending last year pushing civil unions and wasting a lot of tax payer money and time supporting both. If anyone knows there is no honor among thieves it's Mr. Lynch.

If anything this state needs a leader with a spine who holds true to campaign promises rather than the issues never spoken about during the campaign and paid for by special interest groups, then passing them behind the citizens back. I would prefer an independent candidate with a background to back him or her up that their views spoken are actually the views they will stand behind at all costs. Honesty in politics would be a refreshing change rather than the change towards socialism many were fooled into voting for because they voted with emotions rather than asking questions and not accepting double talk and avoidance of the question as a legitimate answer.
- Deb, Derry

"Lynch not anticipatng Ayotte run." I was not anticipating Lynch to sign a gay marriage bill, increase spending in a recession, and continually cow tow to the liberals in his party. I think he should focus more on his job, less on Ayotte's.
- Ron, Manchester

Dear Governor Lynch: Did you ever hear the story about People who live in glass houses?
- Sandy, Thornton

How rich is this........John Lynch promised governor Benson that if he was appointed to a position at UNH he would not run against Benson in the following election......he lied. So Lynch & Manning & Buckley & Sullivan can go sit down. We don't want to hear about it !
