The host of a Halloween party, where a man was stabbed to death, was arrested and charged with facilitating an under age alcohol party.

Robert Brackett, 20, of 157 Bedford Road, is free on $3,000 personal recognizance bail pending arraignment on Dec. 8 in Merrimack District Court.

About 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning, Christopher Vydfol, 20, of Nashua was stabbed once in the chest during the party at Brackett's Bedford Road home. Vydfol died a short time later at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua.

Corey Furgal, 23, of 16 Bel Air Ave., Merrimack, was arrested in the killing and charged with two counts of second-degree murder.

He is being held without bail pending a probable cause hearing on Nov. 10.

Vydfol was stabbed when he tried to break up a fight, friends and family told New Hampshire Union Leader.

Police said they seized a quantity of alcholic beverages from the property and nine people under the age of 21 were taken into protective custody and then released to responsible individuals.
