Obama is for Equality, that translates to citizens losing their rights to parent their children in a fashion that protects them from sexual preditors. See www.massresistance.org. Our courts, lawmakers and educational insitutions, are using our children as pawns for money, votes and power. Planned parenthood is going into the schools pushing an agenda that is fueled by our tax dollars that is putting children at extremely high risk of emotional problems and suicide. Also google Boston
Children's Hospital sex change Clinic. Citizens need to have an uprising.

Jeff Ballard,
I noticed in your campaign literature for state representative that you claim to have been "serving the community for years" in the army, as a volunteer firefighter, and as a nurse. Please answer the following questions:
1. Have you ever served in Iraq or Afghanistan? If not, have you recently made a request to a superior officer that you be sent to Iraq or Afghanistan?
2. How many days have you actually served on duty as a "volunteer firefighter" and when did you first become a volunteer firefighter?
3. How long have you been a resident of the district you're running for office to represent? Do you own a home in that district?
4. When was the first time you started going to the local Methodist Church in your community? Was it before or after you began your campaign to run for the legislature?
5. How long have you been an RN and how many hospitals have you been employed by as an RN?
6. Have you ever held elected office, managed a business, or met a payroll?
7. You stated in your campaign literature that you'd like to see "best and brightest" get elected this November. Don't you think you could use a little less braggadocio and a lot more modesty than describing yourself as the "best and brightest"?
I look forward to hearing your answers to my questions. Thank you.
- wayne, brookfield
Christine from Dover
"boy"???
- LD, Boston, MA
Christine,
I am sorry if you feel I was being condescending.
My message was only aimed at the people who have come out and stated that they will be voting for McCain because Senator Clinton is no longer in the race.
If anyone would like to ask me questions or find out how you can get involved please email me at:
jeffery.ballardRN@yahoo.com
Thanks!
Jeff

As a Hillary supporter, I don't appreciate being lectured and talked down to by Obama supporters about what's at stake in this election. We don't need to be told about the Supreme Court. We understand. Please don't speak to us as though we're stupid. When it comes down to it, we'll vote for your boy even though we would rather not. Just please don't sound so condescending. Your comments are not going to make us embrace him any faster.
- Christine, Dover, NH
Don't let the meanies scare you away. Lots of people in NH love you Obama and you're cool too Hillary!
- Robin, Newport, NH
NH is an independent state and all candidates are welcome. To all of to whining about taxes keep in mind that it is the current administration that blew through 7.5 trillion dollars thus lowering you dollars value by 35%. We cannot run a country on credit indefinitely. This debt must be paid in order to stabilize our economy and the only way to get that ball rolling is to repeal the irresponsible Bush tax cuts. These tax cuts did not create any meaningful jobs nor did they give us anywhere near our moneys worth in economic growth.
Those of us with basic math skills understand that as the debt gets paid the dollar will grow and offset any taxes you’ve paid. Having a weak dollar is no different than a tax and in this case it’s 35%. I’d much rather have a 10% tax increase if it means I’ll get that 35% back. That will bring the cost of gas down to 2.60 and lower prices across the board.
Keep the same policies in place and the debt will be 11 trillion by 2013 and the dollar will be worth 47 cents. That’s no different than having a 53 percent tax rate. Debt reduction saves money and increases wealth and at this point we have no choice but to begin paying it.
- Jim, Raymond NH
I have to urge all of the Hilary supports that are considering voting for McCain to remember that the next President is going to shape the Supreme Court for years to come.
Even if you do not like Obama, please consider what a Conservative Supreme Court could do.
Do you support a woman's right to choose? Do you support equal protection and opportunities to all, regardless of their Sexual Orientation? Do you support the First Amendment?
A vote for McCain could mean a vote against many of the things that we as Democrats find so important.
New Hampshire will be a deciding factor in this years General Election. EVERY VOTE will count.
It would be sad to have people not voting, or voting for a candidate that does not support their beliefs just because Senator Clinton is not on the ticket.
I urge all Democrats to rally in support of Senator Obama. We need to ensure that we have a Supreme Court that will protect our rights.
- Jeff Ballard (D-East Wakefield), East Wakefield, NH
I suggest all moderates go to Unity and ask the hard questions. No fillibustering-just questions to clarify his positions or point out his lies.
- Barbara Bass, Quechee, Vermont
NH is McCain country. Obama, we don't want you here. Nor do we want your new supporter if you are the candidate she supports.
NH needs to stop the Blue tide and vote McCain-the only true American patriot running for president. Lets show the US that NH isn't as uneducated and irresponsible as the rest of New England.
- trish Campbell, Manchester, New Hampshire
The choice was made at the last bilderburg meeting. they know they need NH over mccain and this a a good way to do it. Lets get them to represent live free or die.
We will get to talk to them so ask the good questions. Are you going to impose socialist society on america? Are you going to take away my 2nd amendment rights? Are you going to continue the corruption in washington?
Secondly get them to talk about ending the police state. Bike week was great with all the cops saturating every foot of beautifull laconia. Trees, cops, bikes, cops, babes, and more cops. Some thing feels really wrong.
- Matthew, manchester
The excitement these last few weeks has gone out of the race since Hilary left.
These are two of the most incredible candidates on the face of this earth. They certainly both have their negatives, Obama's are just beginning to surface. But they got an equal number of votes or almost, depending on how you evaluate the primary.
How wonderful to see these two united on a stage. Imagine the excitement of knowing this is an unbeatable team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Eighteen million votes each. Who else can even come close to those numbers. Certainly not any of the V.P. candidates that have been mentioned in todays articles.
- Pam Baumgardner, Roseburg Oregon
Apparently the "change" many GOPers yearn for is more of the same that we've had from "W". Which party has grown the federal government the most recently? Hint, it's not obamas party... Which party has bailed out large investment banks with YOUR taxpayer money (acutally, both but primarily the GOP).
It will never cease to amuse me when republicans rail against dems for being socialists or "communists" (shows a complete misunderstanding of the word, but good capability to regurgitate Coulter and Limbaugh) but don't hesitate to support someone blowing your tax money to prop up BUSINESSES provided that someone supports your right to own a bazooka.
Vote for mccain, ignore his contradictions, support his pandering to you and your issues. Good luck with that.
- jon, hooksett
History has shown time after time, that great leaders emerge in times of great crisis. Maybe McCain could have been that leader. He would have had my vote in 2000 for sure. And I'm sure current events would be much different if McCain were at the helm on 9/11.
But he lost me, and alot of his "independent" credibility when he abandoned his principles and starting pandering to the far-right.
I believe like many others that Obama has a rare gift to motivate and inspire people. Some people call that "Kool-Aid", or "style over substance". I call it innate leadership. And leadership above all else is what we need right now. I do believe Obama can unite the country, particularly if he does institute his Lincoln-style cabinet of "team of Rivals", as he often discusses. Imagine Gates as defense secretary? Condi, or maybe even McCain as secretary of State? I just can't see McCain building the groundswell of support needed to force congress into solving the tough issues of today. That's why the choice has to be Obama. It's time to unite and remember that above all, we are all Americans first.
- mike, hampstead, nh
Ron Ron Ron, I see you are clinging to the marxist/socialist thing here with Obama. I would love to know how much you actually know about politics and how much you know about Socialism besides what you saw in the movie Red Dawn.
Anyways Ron, Obama's plans are not to take your 35,000 a year and distribute it to low life's in the ghetto that haven't worked a day in their life. It is to tax the people making over 200,000 a year and give it to the people only making under 50,000. I'm not a huge Obama fan but jeez, if you make over 200,000 a year and cant afford slightly higher taxes to help hard working blue collar workers pay for the rising price of living then you are a sorry excuse for an American.
Ron, pick up a book and stop watching Fox news. Educate yourself my friend, it is sad to see all of the people on this site who are corrupted and uneducated. Regardless of Dem or Rep I highly recommend you people spend more time reading non-fiction possibly watching the history channel and alot less reality television it will make you better people.
- Shaun, Manchester
Earlier this month I was singing "Ding-dong, the witch's campaign is dead". Now I'm singing the blues that Mrs. Bill Clinton is still clinging to the yellow brick campaign road. Poppies anyone?
- MJR, Bedford
Ben, I agree that you are entitled to your opinion. However, I am entitled to mine also. It's my opinion that liberal/socialists like you are ruining this country and have been for about 40 years. We can thank our liberal/socialists friends and neighbors (and the NEA)for foisting upon us such garbage as diversity, multiculturalism, political correctness and moral relativism.
The root of the word diversity is divisive. Multiculturalism serves no purpose other than to break down our own American culture. The pc and moral relativism stuff is the refuge of weak people who can't handle a little criticism or the responsibility that comes with having to judge right from wrong. Income/weath redistribution is marxism/communism. If that is what you want, why not move to Europe? All of those countries are literally dying because of these failed policies. All of them are desperate for immigrants, as there is a dearth of young people to supply labor for industry.
I am happy that you donate to charity and volunteer. Oblahblah will be taking your paycheck too, if there are enough stupid people in this country to vote him into the White House
- Ron, Manchester
self serving greedy schlock ?
I agree, Ben. All those who drop out
of HS, don't bother with college,
spend their pay like dopes, don't
press themselves to become self
sufficient, have babies before they're
18, etc, etc, ARE pretty self-serving and greedy
Our money is going to prop up
THEIR lifestyles. How much more money
are we going to have to take from
people who actually try to make
something of themselves, just to
hand it off to these greedy lazy
entitlement grabbers ?
- Mike, Londonderry
Change through unity! Yes we can! We can change. We don't know what the change is but we'll make some kind of change, and it will be good, or it'll just be a chance.
Bets that he announces Hillary as his running mate?
Get the heck out of NH! I'd Open Carry around where they were going to be if I lived in that area.
- Jay, Derry
Obama is no diferent than all the rest. He says what he needs to say to get where he needs to be, but we are in a mess and I do belive that it is so bad that we will never recover. And it is not any parties fault. The blame is on Bush. He is just plain incompedent. He is so bad that Mommy does nothing with him any more and his wife travels with out him. Good luck America. We will need it.
- John, Candia
David in Bedford, Many things could be done better when looked at through hindsight. Please explain to us how electing a Marxist/appeaser will help the average American. I await your detailed answer.
BTW, Dave, John McCain was not my first or second or third choice to be President. But I will not support socialism/marxism, ever!
- Ron, Manchester
Hillary Clinton's speech about the 18 million cracks in the hardest, highest ceiling was profound. So I am truly grieving that she is not our nominee. I am still hoping that the superdelegates will take a second look at their candidates and realize that Clinton is far superior to Obama. Otherwise, I guess I will have to sit out this election.
- Lisa ledre, Brooklyn, New York
Wow. It's great to see that not everyone is drinking the "Hope & Change" Kool Aid.
- Bill Howard, Exeter
Barack Obama wants to reinstate the failed Clinton Assault
Weapons Ban. Barack Obama endorsed a complete ban on
handgun ownership. The same Barack Obama supports gun owner
“mandatory training”, gun owner “licensing” and the mandatory
registration of all firearms. Barack Obama supported banning gun
stores within 5 miles of any school or park, effectively banning all
gun stores. Barack Obama supports the rights of cities like
Washington D.C. to enact gun bans. Barack Obama supports
mandatory waiting periods, one fun a month sales restrictions and
a national ban of concealed carry. Ultra-liberal Democrat Barack
Obama whose record of supporting the complete removal of your
gun rights has earned him an F-rating by the Gun Owners of
America, an F-rating only due to the fact that their rating system
doesn’t go an lower.
- MATT FUSE, AMHERST, NH
Its time we take back this state's morals and conservative standpoints that have been slowly slipping away with the Massachusetts invasion. We don't want nor need Obama or his so called "change" in our great state. However, I'm sure Massachusetts and Obama's buddy Mr Kennedy would be glad to host Him and Billary down there.....GO MCCAIN
- Dave, Londonderry, nh
First the bikers, now this.
Enough already!!!
- Pauline, Franklin
Hey Obama, have fun with your new best friend Hillary in Unity. Do us a favor and don't ever come back. On your way out, bring our useless Governor with you. Hopefully you both lose in November, that would be great "Change"
- Morgan, Manchester,NH
Thank you, David, for one of the only worthwhile remarks posted here. You've said it very well. Obama may not be a perfect choice but it's far better than the alternative of having a continuation of the past 8 years of failure. Let's hope you don't get attacked like I have.
And, to Ron. What's pathetic is not my rant. It's called opinion. What is pathetic, however, is your assertion that you somehow know something about me based on my political opinions and your need to attack based on them. I'll have to be satisfied in saying you're wrong on all counts. Not only do I not feel the need to try and prove anything to you but there simply isn't enough space.
I'm not dedicated to any party in particular but a continuation of the last 8 years doesn't seem like a bright a idea and a change seems to be in order. McCain seems the least likely to even try that.
On a final note, I do give to charity on a regular basis and I volunteer as well. What do you do to try and make this a better place for all?
- Ben, Manchester
David from Bedford - " But I do believe that we will change course which can't help but be good."
Oh please! All of Obama's ideals are just the same, tired, FAILED, socialism wrapped up in fuzzy Ophrah nicey-nice vagueness!
Only the young ones who have not "been there, done that", get fooled by his absurd change message.
- Mike, Concord
Ryan, Zerobama knows NH is one of the 57 states.....just ask him. Experiance....yer right. If he's elected (scary thought) we may end up with 57 states when his term is through.
- Tabitha, Londonderry
The Demorcrats haven't even taken the White House back yet and already they are showing fresh creativity! WELCOME, WELCOME,WELCOME!
Greg Barrett
65 W Merrimack St
- Greg Barrett, Manchester
Save your time and gas money.
I'm a former Hillary Clinton supporter. I've never voted for a republican in my life. But I will now.
- Ellen, Manchester
We need to reverse the Bush disaster of a foreign/domestic policy. We need to quit borrowing from China to meet our spending needs.
Govt. has worked best when it has provided the vision and funds and unleashed private enterprise. Whether its the Erie Canal, Transcontinental Railroad, Panama Canal, Interstate Highway System or the Space Program.
America is currently visionless and rudderless. Our current leadership has been a colossal failure. I don't know if Obama will be great. But I do believe that we will change course which can't help but be good.
- David, Bedford
"You know what, I worked for what I have... I can afford all of it... but others can't and it's not always as easy as turning your back on your fellow citizens and telling them to earn it."
Can I have 5% of your paycheck? Its great that you don't mind handing over your money, please don't enable someone to take more of mine, because
I DO mind.
- Zizzy, Manchester
Ben per your post:
"And I'm tired of people saying, "well I can afford it, I worked for it..... let them work for it too". You know what, I worked for what I have... I can afford all of it... but others can't and it's not always as easy as turning your back on your fellow citizens and telling them to earn it. That self serving greedy schlock is just one of the many things wrong with this country. That attitude is the problem."
Typical post by an Obama staffer.
I think charities do an amazing job in the US so why should we force people to pay even more taxes to fund redistribution programs when theres a good chance that they will just abuse the system and become even more dependent on it. Whats the point of working hard when you know you will get hosed by Uncle Sam.
Thats not the kind of change I want.
- Don, Exeter, NH
Ben, I have a hard time believing you work hard. Your pathetic rant sounds like typical college socialist dogma. There are very few hard working people who live within their means that are losing their homes or can't afford to feed their families. If you feel so bad about it, give to charity. Government doesn't do charity very well.
What has our Dem congress done for you in the last 2 years? Gas was $2.60/gal when Bella Pelosi took control. How's that working out for you?
Your willingness to support a marxist for president shows you to be a spoiled child who doesn't want earn his own way. The economy runs in cycles and has since this country was founded. Had you paid attention in your economics class, you would know this. Blaming the current administration is not entirely accurate. they get some of the blame, but not all.
Take some time tomorrow Ben and call your reps on both sides of the aisle. Ask them to approve drilling, anywhere. Ask them to approve permits for more refineries, ask them to push for more nuclear power. Ask them to push for VIABLE alternative energy sources. Not ethanol.
Stop blaming republicans for your troubles Ben, They are no better or worse than the Dems and Hillary and Oblahblah are not Democrats, they are commited marxists.
- Ron, Manchester
New Hampshire should be proud to be the focus of such an historic event. We are seeing history in the making and it makes some people nervous, but we Americans welcome fresh new people with solid ideas, looking to the future. It will take a generation to fix the Republican Party. They can take a time out and give the new guy a chance to clean up their mess.
- Peter Calvet, Bristol
Please go somewhere else! We are all sick of the lies & BS that you will stop at nothing to get elected. You will tax the middle class out of existence with their help no less!!! Anyone who votes for you has not the intelligence nor the wherewithal to see through you & your spin doctors. McCain may not be the first choice but it is far and away a better choice than you
- KD, Merrimack
So when exactly is Obama coming? I just wanted to know so I am no where near the state when he gets here. Personally, I am surprised that a man of his "experience" even knows where NH is.
McCain 2008 for President!!!
- Ryan Feltner, Manchester, New Hampshire
It's just stunning how blatant some are in their support of communism.
How dispicablly low that some are so envious and greedy of what others have worked hard at investing saving, etc. Pure, unadulterated, blatant greed! They don't have the guts to rob people themselves, they want the government to do their dirty work.
- Mike, Concord
I find it funny how many people seem to blame the president for the economy. Nobody seems to blame Congress which by the way has been under Democratic control the last 2 years. If this is the worst president of all time, its also the worst congress of all time. Nobody has done anything to stop rising energy prices and nobody did anything to stop bad mortgages.
- Jonathan, Manchester
Indeed, the story-eyes idealists who live in a fantasy and make wishes and promises and cross their fingers that "CHANGE" will bring them fortunes and fables are in for a very- very rude awakening. NO matter your age, it is always a good thing to grow up for a "change." and stop counting others to bring it you. I vote McCain 2008!
- Ariel Manshell, Boston. Mass
Here is my prediction: if this appearance goes well, and the two of them seem genuinely supportive of each other, the polls in NH will move from dead heat to about a 10-point Obama advantage. It will be refreshing this fall to not be bombarded with campaign ads. McCain won't be able to afford spending here; he'll want to spend in states he has a better chance of winning. The battleground states won't be the purple ones; they will be the red ones.
- steve boyington, Chester
What I also find amusing is that some are so ready to bash Obama because they don't have specifics on his plans for change.... and then they say how great McCain is.
We can all agree, at least we should be able to, that some sort of change is in order to rectify the sinking ship that is this country.
My point is this. If you're going to trash Obama for his not supplying specifics on what his plans for change are then tell me this... what are McCains plans for change? Oh, wait... he doesn't have any. Business as usual. Let's stand by and watch and see while our own citizens lose their homes, can't afford to feed their children or heat their homes. Yeah, that's a great plan.
And I'm tired of people saying, "well I can afford it, I worked for it..... let them work for it too". You know what, I worked for what I have... I can afford all of it... but others can't and it's not always as easy as turning your back on your fellow citizens and telling them to earn it. That self serving greedy schlock is just one of the many things wrong with this country. That attitude is the problem.
- Ben, Manchester
How exciting for the town of Unity! I for one am happy they're coming to NH.
- Beth, Candia
There isn't much in Unity, NH - I live near there and you could drive through without knowing you were anywhere - funny place to meet
- Jake, Cornish
Mike, your analogy, while rather entertaining is extremely flimsy.
If your son was at least of driving age with a few years behind the wheel under his belt I'd much, much, much rather have him take me for a ride than a 70 something.... at least the younger fella is more in touch with the newer vehicle he's driving. The US is not a rusty old crank start model T.
- Ben, Manchester
I would of voted for clinton..I will not vote for obama....unless clinton VPS...Ugh....
- christine, manchester
You must all be reading the same books. I, for one, am very tired of just how ignorant you all are. The world we live in now views us Americans as the laughing stock of the planet. We are the bottom feeders of the world thanks to current political administrations. Ask yourself if you want this to continue and then choose a path that leads us back on the right path.
- Charles, Keene
As much as I can appreciate a well-thought-out campaign tactic, this whole "Unity" thing is quite corny. I'm sure Barack rolled his eyes when he heard about this trip; this seems like more of a Hillary idea.
- Breyer S., Manchester, NH
Let's stop quibbling and go for a scenic bus ride around our great state. My young son who has never driven a bus (or any vehicle for that mater) will drive. It will be such a change from that stoic, cranky professional driver of 25 years. My young son has not been tainted by any accidents or near accidents and that's what makes him fun. No experience to make him know what the hell he's doing. It's so exciting!!
- Mike, Change
The only change I have seen from Obama thus far is his stance on accepting public campaign funding.
- Grace, Bedford
Big deal! Two of the 3 stooges running for president. To round it off they ought to bring Curly McCain with them!
This country is in deep trouble no matter witch of the 2 major parties wins.
Give us a heads up before Nader comes again. He's nothing to get excited about, but at least I don't fear him winning!
- Steve, Raymond
Change CAN be good...but it can also be bad. Change for the sake of change can be especially dangerous. This is especially true when you have a possible future President (and his wife) who embraces Marxist Socialist ideas.
Obama has been quoted as saying "Globalization and technology and automation all weaken the position of workers," he said, and a strong government hand is needed to assure that wealth is distributed more equitably."
(Source NRO) Excuse me????
His wife stated "Someone is going to have to give up their piece of their pie so that someone else can have more." It's nice when your piece of the pie is an annual salary of $300,000 (like Michelle Obama). It's also very easy to spend other people's money while making utopian promises. What about the hard working people who are just getting by. Do they deserve yet another "piece of their pie" taken away and given to another?
So, penalizing the productive members of society vis-a-vis confiscatory taxes is "Change"? I "Hope" that "Change" won't happen.
Lastly, from the "Uniter" to a gathering of far left San Franciscans, "And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”
So, if you don't believe in the wealth redistribution that they are waiting to foist on us, you are a frustrated, bitter, Bible-thumping, gun nut xenophobe.
God help this country. Stop "drinking the Kool-aid" people.
- Jim, Manchester
"Change is good."
Not all "change" is good.
- Bess, Concord
Amy, it seems as though you and the rest of the liberal/socialists are the only ones who are miserable. As an independant/libertarian, I have never had a problem supporting myself or my family. I work hard and I am rewarded for my efforts. You should try it. Then you won't need either of these two communists to redistribute my earnings to you.
- Ron, Manchester
Thank you, Amy, for a positive comment.
The issue of Obama's lack of experience is so overblown that it's amusing. Yes he has less experience than McCain.... nobody can dispute that fact. But, just ask yourself where the "experienced" politicians of recent times, regardless of party affiliation, have put this country. Obama is something different... a fresh perspective and that's exactly what this country needs. His lack of experience is part of what makes him relevant... he hasn't been tainted. Besides, now a days political experience is nothing more than experience in misinformation and deceit.
The last thing this country needs is to continue down the Bush path, especially if it thinks it will yield different results just because there is a new face at the helm of the ship.
America needs to open her eyes.
- Ben, Manchester
Republican rule has been oh so kind to all of us, oh so astute and helpful. The U.S. is such a better place since Bush took office: our economy is strong, our standing in the world cannot be matched, we have the most forward-looking education and energy policy, and our taxes, well, you'd hardly notice them. Our multi-trillion dollar debt may upset true conservatives, but look how well our decrepit infrastructure is holding up! Obama, no way! Liberals? They'd only lead us into foreign policy disaster and ruin our blossoming economy. Let's privatize more, make the markets freer, continue down this yellow brick road to the Emerald City -- elect McCain, or even better: Bob Barr! Yeah, that's the ticket!
- Paul, Peterborough
For those "strict constructionists" out there...the founding fathers also thought it was wise to allow slavery to continue and to deny women the right to vote.
The law of the land changes with the culture. You can't stop it.
The Republican agenda is toast.
- Macy, Brooklyn, NY
Yeah, Amy..."change"...totally unspecified, unspecific "change". But it's change, right? What's that change? Do you know? Does he know? No, of course not.
But you can stand there with blank eyes and shout "change!"...It requires no thought at all. It's easy.
And that's what Obama and his ilk are counting on. People who don't think. Who don't question. Change!
- Mike R., Bedford
"Obama has contradicted himself on almost every single issue. That's because when he's thinking/talking on his own, rather than reading what someone else wrote, he's just a complete, naive, inexperienced nincompoop." Well Mike from Concord, after the last 8 years I am sure you are used to it!
- Sid, Merrimack
Amy - "Change is good. Obama brings change and is a breath of fresh air in what is a stale political arena."
Amy, Obama brings Jimmy Carter's failed policies. How on earth is that:
1) Change
2) Good
???!!!
We've been there, done that, YUCK!! If you're too young to remember, then I would give you a small pass on thinking Osama's tired old rehashes are NEW...
- Mike, Concord
Amy - "Change" is not always good. Getting pneumonia is change, but I doubt it's the kind of change you would want...
- Lisa, Exeter
Obama always talks of "hope" and "change," yet fails to detail what those mean.
He's all style and no substance.
- William Smith, Manchester, NH
What change have either of these senators brought to fruition during their senatorial terms? What benefits have we gotten from the Democratic majority in both houses of Congress for the last two years? Indeed - let's vote for change in 2008!
- Ann, Derry, NH
Good for them and New Hampshire ! Let the sour and small minded choke on their own bitterness.

Change is good. Obama brings change and is a breath of fresh air in what is a stale political arena. America does not need another Bush/McCain to continue down this road of misery!

"the liberals are coming!! the liberals are coming" Quick, hide behind our religions and our guns, maybe they won't notice us!!! (Did that sound "bitter"??) Let them come, spew their socialist rant, and leave.
These are the ones who want to abolish the electoral college so they wont ahve to "waste" their time on little states with fewer voters. The founding fathers new what they were doing when they created state elections for federal office instead of one Federal Election.

If you added up the actual real world experience these two have, you could fit it in a thimble with room to spare.
Obama has contradicted himself on almost every single issue. That's because when he's thinking/talking on his own, rather than reading what someone else wrote, he's just a complete, naive, inexperienced nincompoop. His handlers have to constantly "correct" what he said.

Go away, Obama. We're those bitter people who "cling to religion and guns". We have lots of white steeple churches and we respect the second amendment.

"Change" does not mean going backwards in time, or raising taxes, or being inexperianced, or making a showcase out of an unqualified candidate. Anything to do with Clinton is a fraud. NH : be aware of the truth before it bites you.
