Playwright airs queen's dirty laundry
By CAROL ROBIDOUX
New Hampshire Union Leader Staff
Friday, Aug. 1, 2008

In the heat of auction, Imelda Murphy, right, broke her budget but scored some lace-trimmed sleepwear, once worn by England's Queen Victoria.
Without it, her recently penned play, "The Quane's Laundry," would just be another work of historical fiction about royal bloomers and the fallen women who washed them.
