Police: Baby formula stolen from Shaw's

CONCORD – Police say a man robbed a large quantity of baby formula from a Shaw's Supermarket on Wednesday before fleeing in a car reported stolen from Manchester.
The man stole about 23 cans of Nestle Good Start formula, valued at $12.99 per can.
Police describe the man as a white male, about 5-foot-10, with a buzz cut and goatee. He was alone and was wearing a red and gray plaid shirt and a hooded sweatshirt at the time.
The man left the Shaw's on D'Amante Drive about 6:50 p.m. After being confronted by store security personnel, he left in a dark-colored Ford Taurus.Within about 10 minutes, a Concord police officer located the suspect vehicle as it left Interstate 93 at Exit 12. The officer attempted to stop the driver, and the vehicle initially stopped on South Main Street before fleeing south on South Main Street.
