An hour before a televised Republican forum that excluded Republican Ron Paul, more than 200 of his supporters jammed the four corners of a busy downtown intersection, chanting "FOX News sucks," to passing motorists.

Manchester police responded to complaints with a dozen officers, who cited a few of the supporters for blocking traffic. No one was arrested, said Lt. Peter Bartlett.

Throughout the day Paul supporters remained a vocal presence on Elm Street, holding large Ron Paul "Revolution" signs and interacting with motorists stopped in traffic along the busy throughway.

An airplane circled the city overhead with a Ron Paul Revolution banner in tow.

"It was taxing on the department," Bartlett said of the outpouring for Paul by a large contingent of supporters, who concentrated their protest efforts at the intersection of Elm and Merrimack and a block south, near the FOX News tent pitched outside the Radisson Hotel.

Last night’s FOX News forum included Rudy Giuliani, John McCain, Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee and Fred Thompson. Paul and California congressman Duncan Hunter were excluded.

The New Hampshire Republican Party withdrew its sponsorship of the event because of the Paul snub, a move announced Saturday in a prepared statement issued by party chair Fergus Cullen.

Meanwhile, a USA TODAY/Gallup Poll released yesterday showed Paul and Giuliani — who previously had 11 percent of the New Hampshire vote — tied for fourth place with 8 percent.

In response to the FOX snub, Paul held a live town hall style meeting at MCAM, the city’s community access studio on Elm Street, which was supposed to be broadcast live from MCAM’s website.

Demand was so high, the station’s server crashed.

"It was phenomenal," said station manager Joe Lahr of the online response.

"We had thousands of people per minute trying to log on from all over the country. Normally we get about 300 hits per day," Lahr said.

He suggested people go to YouTube to view the broadcast.

"We’re only able to accommodate about 100 people simultaneously, so it’s better if people try Googling it," Lahr said. "It was a fantastic response. No one was hurt and in the end, his message got out."

Fox News showed their strips by not allowing Paul to participate. They're truly a mouth piece for the Republican Party and NOT for fiscally conservative government. Like many in the Republican party have proven over the past six years, they want larger government and to tell people how to live their lives - they know better.

Fox news is a disgrace and should be ashamed.

MCAM's server was crashed by people *all over the world* trying to view the town hall meeting. The have a real-time map of visitors to the site on their home page that had red dots all over the place. This isn't surprising. Meet-up groups supporting Paul have organized in about 30 countries and some foriegn media have followed his campaign with a great deal of interest. A European bank forcasts impending economic turmoil in the US with the likely result that Paul will be elected. (He is the only candidate grounded in monetary theory.)

It is so difficult to not be able to be there to join the Revolution. The thing is, if Ron Paul wins-we all win!

I am so glad to be able to get good information via the internet and links to sites with articles like this.

THANK YOU! (That's a BIG thank you)
